Biography

I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU ABOUT MY ACTIVITIES.

I became intrested in painting during my childhood. But it took several years before I began to paint seriously, speaking strictly 1969.

I came to Sweden in 1978 and worked at different studios. I have my own studio in Stockholm since 1991. I prefer using organical colours (oil, tempera and water colour) and follow expressionist , colourist and lyrical way. Schumann had said that “Enlightning darkness of the peoples hearts is a duty of an artist,” which I thorougly believe in and follow.

Untill now I had 28 exibitions in Sweden and Turkey. 10 of them became possible after jury decision. Even though I always paint the way I feel like I am influenced of the happenings which take place in my surrounding and even far away.

The artists who have affected me are Amadeus Modigliani, Van Gogh, Vassily Kandinsky, Ivan Agueli, Zeki Faik Izer, Orhan Peker, Rauf Alazan, Ilhan Koman, Mimmo Palladino and Per Kirkeby.
